Locations to Grow

The Cambridge Norwich Tech Corridor offers a range of opportunities for businesses looking to expand or relocate within the Corridor area. In total, over 560 Ha of development sites for employment use is available for businesses and investors and key opportunities can be viewed on the Development Opportunities page.

The Tech Corridor is home to three Enterprise Zones:

  • Norwich Research Park, Norfolk – One of the largest single-site concentrations of research in food, health and life sciences in Europe, Norwich Research Park has world-leading credentials to secure the UK’s position as the global leader in these emerging multi-billion pound sectors.
  • Suffolk Park, Bury St Edmunds – The EZ sits within a 68 hectare extension to the Suffolk Business Park, which is seeking to create a successful business environment for companies in the digital and new media, food and agriculture and high value manufacturing clusters.
  • Haverhill Research Park, Cambridgeshire – Home to influential sectors including bio science, electronics, advanced materials, software, printing, instruments, engineering and clean tech, all within easy reach of the Cambridge phenomenon.

Skilled Workforce

The Cambridge Norwich Tech Corridor and its surrounding area is home to a number of world-renowned Further and Higher Education institutions including Cambridge University, University of East Anglia and Norwich University of the Arts together providing the region with over 37,000 university students. In addition, a number Further Education institutions provide specialist training and degrees for students throughout the Tech Corridor area.
