A focus on…Wroxham and Hoveton
The Capital of the Broads National Park, these villages are located eight miles northeast of Norwich, just 15 minutes from the Broadland Northway, meaning easy access to the Broadland Business Park area, Norwich Research Park, the UEA, the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital and the newly established Food Enterprise Park.
An hourly train service from London to Norwich meets with the local train service to Hoveton and Wroxham station on the Bittern Line which also runs regular trains to North Walsham and Sheringham. There are good local bus services operating regularly to Norwich and the surrounding villages.
The area benefits from:
- Significant engineering and boat building companies in the area including Oyster Yachts Boats, Landamores Boatbuilders, Seaglaze Marine Windows and Milltech Precision Engineering.
- Tourism and tech companies including Innershed, Colleague Software, Broads Tours and Norfolk Broads Direct based nearby.
- ‘The World’s Largest Village Store’ of Roy’s, and lots of places to hire day boats or cruisers, including the iconic Broads Tours Steamboat.
- Proximity to Wroxham Barns and BeWILDerwood family attractions.
