Foresight Group’s Nick Mettyear joins Cambridge Norwich Tech Corridor delivery board

Nick is one of the investment managers at specialist SME investor Foresight, with responsibility for the £100m Foresight East of England Fund.

Delivery board members provide overall strategic direction for the Tech Corridor initiative, as well as helping to shape the initiative’s programmes and providing input on investment plans for the Tech Corridor and the region as a whole.

“Since we formally launched the Foresight East of England Fund last year and opened our office in Cambridge, I have been impressed by the dynamism and innovation we have seen across the region,” said Nick.

“We are here to provide companies in the region with long-term patient capital and expertise structured to meet the needs of their business. I look forward to working with the team at the Cambridge Norwich Tech Corridor, providing the infrastructure and guidance that the businesses in the region are looking for.”

Since joining Foresight in 2018, Nick has worked on transaction in business services, healthcare, technology and aerospace. He sits on the boards of Oxford Space Systems, Biotherapy Services and Flusso

Prior to joining Foresight, whilst completing his MBA, Nick worked at Duke Street where he focussed on retail and consumer buyouts, and FPE Capital, where he worked on a number of TMT and business services transactions. He also worked as a consultant in the financial services industry for five years, working on projects across strategy and regulation.
