It's onwards and upwards for MultiplAI, a fast-expanding techbio company developing RNA-based, AI-driven, universal genomic screening for cardiovascular and other complex diseases, that has benefited from the flexible terms and business support offered by The EpiCentre in Haverhill.

MultiplAI, one of the early occupiers at The EpiCentre which opened in November 2020 is now growing rapidly and, as a result, is relocating to the Cambridge Science Park.

Charlie Luzzani, co-founder and CSO of the company, said: “We are grateful to Centre Manager Andrew Bell and his whole team who have helped us immensely in our growth over the last two years. The space was just what we wanted at the time, with the added attraction of the flexible occupational terms it offers,” adds Luzzani. “It’s just what a start-up company needs and avoids having to sign up to multi-year lease terms.”

Luzzani, cites the benefit of the all-inclusive service provided by The EpiCentre. “As a laboratory user we were able to share the equipment provided by the centre, and through the centre’s business support service we have been able to access a business growth support grant from Suffolk Council.”

The monthly rental paid by the occupier covers overheads such as taxes, electricity bills, waste management, telecoms and wifi provision, allowing companies to concentrate on developing their business rather than dealing with occupational red tape.

Andrew Bell, says: “Charlie Luzzani and his team have been ideal clients and as they move on we feel very pleased that we have been able to help them in their expansion. That is what The EpiCentre is all about, giving companies the flexibility to grow without the administrative burden that comes with occupying space on conventional lease terms.”
