Cambridge Norwich Tech Corridor at Genesis 2019 life science conference

The Tech Corridor is home to a diverse life science and medtech cluster

The Cambridge Norwich Tech Corridor is attending the Genesis 2019 conference in London on Wednesday.

Genesis will assemble senior executives and decision-makers from across the life science, healthcare and technology field to present, discuss and demonstrate their collective insight and thought leadership for the sector, themselves and their stakeholders.

The Tech Corridor is part of the East of England group at the conference, a collection of 20 stakeholders from across the region which also includes Norwich Research Park, the Wellcome Genome Campus, and Cambridge Wireless.

One Nucleus, the membership organisation for life science companies, has organised the conference, taking place at the QEII Conference Centre in London.

Tony Jones, CEO of One Nucleus, said: “The East of the UK can only be viewed as a powerhouse by almost any metric, whether it’s the >£1Bn private investment over the past 18 months, 17 per cent employment growth and 37 per cent business growth since 2012 or it’s highly skilled labour market with 44 per cent qualified to degree level or above.

“Coupling this with the proximity and access to the London financial sector with its colossal academic medical research base and global connectivity then it’s little wonder why so many of us feel confident in the potential for future success.”

The Tech Corridor team will be located at stand P7 in the Britten Room. If you would like to arrange a meeting to find out more about the life science opportunities in the Tech Corridor, email info@techcorridor.co.uk or contact us on Twitter or LinkedIn.
